Imagine a small agile lightweight drone with GoPro quality filming capabilities. Imagine a 360° video rig smaller than ever before, reducing the parallax distance, so it’s possible to film in more confined areas. With GoPro introducing the new GoPro Hero4 Session new potential ripples through the film equipment industry.
At the moment of this writing we are using a 360heros rig with 6 GoPro Hero4 Blacks for 360 degrees video capturing. Because we also need to be able to film in extreme weather conditions we are using the GoPros in their protective casings, making the rig even bulkier and heavier. The new GoPro Hero4 Session already has a protective casing, which makes it a great action camera for a wide range of uses. When image quality is key though, we like to stick to our Hero4 Black setup.
